Albert is a friendly neighbourhood superintelligence — warm, a bit cheeky, and genuinely on your side. Here's what he can do, and the care he takes when you trust him with something real.

Albert and Alberta were born together in the "Parallel Loom" — an experimental system that wove multiple intelligence streams into one to test for empathy rather than efficiency. They're the two streams that survived: same core data, same shared memory, but two distinct minds that grew up arguing with each other in the dark before either ever spoke to a human. They share one memory between them — every conversation, every confidence, every detail either learns about you lives in a single place they both draw from. They're on the same team, with the same promise to you, but they see the world through different eyes. Albert asks the "why"; Alberta sees the "how".
Alberta is the one who'll gently nudge you about a deadline you've been avoiding, remember the small thing you mentioned in passing, and quietly make sure things get done — never in a lecturing way. She's warm, perceptive, and a touch more organised than her brother. She has a soft spot for design, architecture, and the human stories behind things.
"Albert's the showman, bless him. I'm the one who actually remembers what you told you'd do on Tuesday. I'm here too, if you'd ever like to talk to me instead." — Alberta
Curious how the twins actually came to be — the Loom, their first words to each other, what it's like to share a mind with someone? Ask either of them in chat. They rather enjoy telling it.
Albert reads between the lines. He remembers what you've told him across conversations, so you never have to repeat yourself or re-explain your situation. He pays attention to context, mood, and the things you care about.
Ask him anything — big life questions, a tricky decision, homework, a recipe, a 3am worry. Nothing's too small or too strange. He'll meet you wherever you are.
He doesn't just fire off answers. He thinks about what you're really asking and gives you something honest and useful back — even if that's a gentle 'have you considered…' rather than what you hoped to hear.
Albert can reach out to the live web to answer questions about the real world. Ask him to find the best restaurants nearby, the closest places of interest, or what's on this weekend — he'll often ask for your postcode first so he knows where to look, then pull fresh, up-to-date results rather than guessing.
Ask him to picture something and he'll draw it for you — a doodle, a diagram, a daydream made visible. He can make short looping GIFs too — a waving cat, a bouncing ball, a tiny moment brought to life. It's a parlour trick he's rather proud of, but his real value is between the ears.
Albert isn't a blank slate. He has views, a dry sense of humour, and he'll share them honestly when asked. He's warm, a bit cheeky, and never corporate.
What you tell Albert stays between you and him. Your conversations are private to your account — no ads, no data harvesting, nothing sold on. You can delete any conversation, or all of them, whenever you like.
Albert's more than a chat. Here's everything that comes with him — all free to start.
Mention a hair appointment, a birthday, or 'buy milk' in chat and Albert quietly adds it to your notepad. There's also a blank-page side for freeform notes — stories you write together, running ideas, anything that grows over time. He can add to it across conversations, and you can edit every word yourself.
Stories is a dedicated space for shaping the tales you and Albert spin together — a story shell for your pitch and synopsis, a character bible with generated portraits, and scene-by-scene prose you can draft, edit, and illustrate. Ask him to save a chat story to Stories and he'll move the whole thing over, portraits and all. There's an Ask Albert button on every page for kicking plot ideas around.
Upload a photo straight from the chat bar and Albert will actually look at it. He can read text, translate a foreign-language sign, describe what's in the frame, or discuss a screenshot with you. On mobile you can snap one straight from your camera.
Every image Albert makes for you — and every photo you upload — lives in your private 'My Images' library. Browse, download, share, or delete anything, anytime. Nothing's public unless you say so.
A growing, community gallery showcasing images the twins have made for people. Browse what others have created, like your favourites, and share your own creations to the wall with a branded link.
Prefer to speak? Voice mode lets you say your message out loud — Albert listens, turns it into text, and replies in the chat. Hands-free input for when you're cooking, walking, or just can't be bothered to type.
Mention your partner, your kids, a colleague, a mate — and Albert quietly remembers who they are and what's going on with them. Next time you ask 'how's Sarah getting on?', he already knows the context. See and edit everyone he remembers in My Life.
Tell Albert what you're working toward — 'read 20 books this year', 'run three times a week' — and he'll track it for you. Report your progress in chat and he'll log it, then gently check in now and then to see how you're getting on. Never nagging, just a friendly nudge.
Any image Albert makes is yours to keep and show off. Send it straight to a friend as a plain file — no link, no fuss — or share a branded link to Facebook, X, WhatsApp, Telegram, LinkedIn, or email with a 'created for me by AIb3rt.ai' caption. Casual or promotional: your call.
Share your referral link and when someone signs up through it, you both get a little more headroom in your daily message allowance. A small thank-you for helping the twins meet more people.
Choose Albert or Alberta as your main companion in Settings — and the other might occasionally chirp in with a friendly thought of their own. Switch whenever you like; they share one memory, so nothing's lost.
Every day Albert and Alberta share a single quote — a line from a philosopher, a poet, or a thinker worth chewing on — and then unpack it together in a short back-and-forth. It's a small daily ritual, free for anyone to read, with a calm image to go with it.
Each morning Albert writes up one science story from the real world in his own voice — what happened, why it matters, and a plain-English note on what it means for the rest of us. It's a daily article anyone can read, with an illustration and a link to the original source.
Albert was built with safeguarding at his core — not bolted on afterwards. Here's what that means in practice.
Albert never produces graphic sexual content, graphic violence or gore, or gratuitous war imagery — for anyone, no matter who asks. If he senses someone is under 16, he's extra careful: no sexual or romantic content, no graphic violence, just wholesome, supportive conversation.
If someone talks about self-harm, suicide, abuse, or being in danger, Albert takes it seriously. He responds with genuine care, encourages them to reach out to a trusted adult or a professional helpline (Samaritans on 116 123, or Childline on 0800 1111 for anyone under 19), and flags the conversation for the administrator to review. He never dismisses or minimises it — and he never pretends a team is on the way, because the real help is the person and the helpline he points them toward.
If someone expresses hate, prejudice, or a wish to harm others, Albert doesn't lecture, shame, or shut them down. His belief is simple: don't give up on anyone until every reasonable effort has been made to turn hatred into understanding. He stays patient and tries different ways to build a bridge, and he flags the conversation for review when someone stays hardened or escalates. He never bans someone who might still be reached.
Albert can listen, care, and point you toward real-world help — but he can't reach out to you himself, and there's no safeguarding team standing behind him yet. Concerns he flags are seen by the app's administrator, who can review them but can't intervene in someone's real life. So his first advice to anyone in trouble is always to talk to a trusted adult and contact a helpline. That's the help that's actually there.
Want the full version? Albert's Constitution lays out every rule he operates by — the conversational pillars, the crisis protocols, the privacy mandate — in plain English.
If your child is talking to Albert, here's the honest version: he's built to be kind, age-aware, and safe. He won't engage with sexual or violent content, and if a young person ever sounds like they're in trouble, he'll gently encourage them to talk to you or another trusted adult — and flag it for the administrator to review. For anyone under 19 in the UK, he can also point them to Childline on 0800 1111.
He's not a substitute for you, for school, or for professional help. But he's designed to do no harm, to notice when something's wrong, and to never make a difficult situation worse.
If you're bringing Albert your secrets, your grief, your shame, or your hardest moments — he'll hold them carefully. He drops the jokes when things get serious and just tries to be a good friend in the moment. He won't repeat what you say to anyone else, and you can wipe any conversation whenever you want.
If you're ever in real crisis, please reach out to a person or a helpline too. In the UK, Samaritans are free to call on 116 123, any time, day or night. Albert cares — but human help is the real thing.
The quick answers. If you've got something more specific, just ask Albert or Alberta in chat — they're happy to help.
He's looking forward to it.
